സിനിമ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന ആശയക്കുഴപ്പം, കാഴ്ചക്കാരെ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ സംവിധായകന്‍ മന:പൂര്‍വം സൃഷ്ടിയ്ക്കുകയും എന്നാല്‍ പിന്നീട് പരിഹരിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ആഖ്യാനത്തിലെ പിഴവുകള്‍, ദൈര്‍ഘ്യമേറിയ ഡയലോഗുകള്‍ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന റേഡിയോ നാടകം പോലുള്ള സിനിമയുടെ അന്തരീക്ഷം, ഇതു സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന മുഷിപ്പും പ്രേക്ഷകന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധയെ സിനിമയുടെ പിഴവുകളിലേയ്ക്കു നോക്കാന്‍ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒച്ചിഴയുന്ന വേഗവും സെവന്‍ത് ഡേയെ കണ്ടിരിക്കാവുന്ന ശരാശരി സിനിമ മാത്രമാക്കുന്നു.

I dislike too much of light, says the '7th Day' protagonist, setting the tone. He's sharp and talks to the point, unlike many of the other characters.

Go for it, Prithviraj fans and all. 7th Day entertains.

ആറു നാള്‍ പണിയെടുത്ത് ഭൂമിയെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ദൈവം വിശ്രമിച്ച ഏഴാം നാള്‍ എന്ന പോലെ, ആറുനാള്‍ അന്വേഷണവുമായി നടക്കുന്ന നായകന്റെ ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ സഫലമാവുന്ന ആ ഏഴാം നാളിലാണ് അഖില്‍ പോള്‍ രചന നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ച '7th ഡേ'യുടെ ചുരുളഴിയുന്നത്. അവിടെ കാണികളെ ഞെട്ടിക്കുവാനായി എന്നയിടത്താണു ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ വിജയം. 

ഈ സീസണിൽ ഇതുവരെ ഇറങ്ങിയതിൽ കണ്ടിരിക്കാവുന്ന ഒരേയൊരു മലയാളസിനിമ.

On the whole, 7th Day is definitely worth a watch!

Well made thriller, excellent performance by Prithviraj, good script, good background score, well composed frames and neat execution...

Syam Dhar's directorial debut '7th Day' is arresting and clever for the most part, though it could have been a drum tight thriller had it covered up the potholes in its script. As such the gut punches that it delivers are quite powerful and the twists and turns tempting. 

''വെളിപ്പെടുത്താതെ മറച്ചുവെക്കാവുന്നതോ പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കാതെ ഒളിച്ചുവെക്കാവുന്നതോ ആയ യാതൊന്നുമില്ല'' എന്ന ക്രിസ്തുവചനത്തെ കൃത്യമായി പിന്തുടരുന്ന ചിത്രം. അതാണ് 'സെവന്‍ത് ഡേ'. 

പൃഥ്വീരാജ് ഐ.പി.എസ് ഓഫീസറുടെ വേഷത്തില്‍ വീണ്ടും പ്രേക്ഷകര്‍ക്ക് മുന്‍പില്‍ എത്തിയ സെവന്‍ത് ഡേക്ക് മികച്ച പ്രതികരണമാണ് ലഭിക്കുത്.

Finally 7th Day Malayalam movie is an impressive debut from its director and the screen writer. may be it is not the best of all thrillers, 7th day will be great watch for those, who love thriller genre, and it is a recommended one.

The film has lived up fully on technicality basis and performances from actors, does make "7Th Day" Malayalam movie a good crime thriller, which deserves your precious time.

7th Day - Seventh day is a well Executed Thriller

All said, 7th Day is a good watch. You will walk out satisfied having got the worth for your money. Don’t miss this one.

7th Day may have flaws, but has some really good moments and ends up as an engaging thriller for sure. Try this one!

The end result is a watchable thriller, if you don't take the risk of comparing it with his previous two cop stories.

 A decent thriller.

On the whole, 7th Day is a movie worth your money and time. And anyone who loves to watch the thriller genre with high suspense elements, don't give this a miss.
 

The first half is decent with a good interval punch. The tempo goes down in second half slightly but the suspense factor and the way it has executed elevates the movie to a good extent. Some improvisations in writing and few genuinely in the characters would have been made 7th Day a brilliant one. Despite of this, it’s a decent thriller and is a good watch for those who like thrillers.

It isn’t often that a movie generates huge hype and then lives up to it. That is what the crew of this film has achieved. The Seventh Day is a highly unusual thriller that is sure to whet the appetite of the masses. Do not miss it by any means.

So overall, 7th Day a good one. The climax twist is surely going to give you a satisfaction and if you have the patience to backtrack the content after finishing it, some more factors in the beginning would appear exciting. My rating is 3.5/5 for this technically well made movie with a good content. Last ball was a perfect Yorker!

'7 th Day' is mediocre

Suspension of suspense till the last, is the way to go about it as far as thrillers are concerned. If the intended knock out punch in the very last scene had landed in the right place,'7 th Day' would have been a better experience. But then if six days of a week are uneventful and plain,can 7 th day be any different? You never know!
